Voting Tuesday, Nov. 3? We suggest reading the ballot first. Along with three constitutional amendment questions, voters pick a U.S. Senate winner and a Ninth District House member.
Voters get three constitutional amendment questions
| Question | Would |
|---|---|
| Question 1 | Protect reproductive care decisions, allow some third-trimester limits |
| Question 2 | Remove the ban on same-sex marriage |
| Question 3 | Make voting a fundamental right; restore it on release |

- U.S. Senate: Mark Warner (D) vs. Bert Mizusawa (R)
- Ninth District: Rep. H. Morgan Griffith vs. Joy Powers (D)
In Pulaski County and Radford, there's more. Pulaski County voters will decide on a 1% sales tax for public school construction and renovation, and Radford voters get the same question. Only voters in the town of Pulaski decide whether to allow pari-mutuel wagering, which would open the door to a Rosie's Gaming Emporium. WSLS reports that supporters say it could bring up to $2 million a year in local tax revenue, while critics worry about addiction.
Pulaski's two local questions come with these numbers
- $2 million
- a year in local tax revenue at most, supporters say
- 100
- electronic machines, roughly, at a Rosie's location
- 1%
- sales tax for schools, ending June 30, 2046
