Del. Liz Guzman introduced House Bill 415 to designate pawpaw as Virginia’s official fruit in an effort to boost local production and awareness.

Co-patron Del. Joshua Cole said the measure could help grow this native, nutrient-rich fruit + support historical agriculture.
