➤ Virginia's Mobile ID app is now available for download and lets travelers use a digital driver's license at TSA checkpoints, DMV centers, and select ABC stores in Richmond. Over 44,000 Virginians have already used it, though officials advise carrying a physical ID until acceptance expands statewide. WSET

➤ BradenHealth announced on Christmas Day that Stuart Community Hospital will reopen Jan. 5 with full hospital and emergency department services after years of closure. The Roanoke Times
