- ➤ On Tuesday, Oct. 21, the Christiansburg Recreation Center parking lot will host a drive-through shred-a-thon from 3—6 p.m. to help prevent identity theft, and walk-ups will not be accepted as participants must use plastic bins or boxes (22.5x18x11.5) with a limit of three per car. - ➤ Gina Dilg, a local artist and musician, won the Graphic Artist of the Year Award at an IBMA event on September 18 in Chattanooga and teaches fiddle lessons on Mondays at the Montgomery Museum.
