- ➤ Virginia State Police have issued a senior alert for missing 75-year-old man Everett Lyndell Price in Christiansburg — he was last seen Sunday morning on County Drive Northeast and is at risk because of his cognitive impairment. WSLS 10

- ➤ Virginia Tech ended its Homecoming from Sept. 29 to Oct. 4 when Carson Riley was crowned among the royalty winners during the Hokies’ football game—he campaigned to raise awareness for pornography addiction as his faith-based fraternity’s representative and plans a panel discussion with experts using a $1,000 prize. - ➤ The Jason Price Foundation is hosting its first All-in for Cancer Poker Tournament in Blacksburg — the event includes a silent auction and poker games, with proceeds benefiting the new cancer wing at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital and 10 South Legacy. WSLS 10
