➤ Local police arrested a driver in Blacksburg for reckless driving and attempting to elude officers—officials said a chase led to the arrest. WDBJ7

GOVERNMENT NEWS

➤ The Montgomery County School Board will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the county government center in Christiansburg to vote on state-mandated policy changes—including new rules on student cellphone use, crisis management, and more—as well as review updates on 20 summer facility projects and a pay boost proposal for state-licensed maintenance workers.
