- ➤ JBR Vineyards will host its 6th annual Pawpaw Festival on September 6-7 with free admission, live music plus wine tasting, a walk through the pawpaw patch, and vineyard tours. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Virginia Cooperative Extension and Virginia Tech will host the Kentland Farm Field Day on Tuesday, September 9 at Kentland Farm in Blacksburg — the event will feature a 1 p.m. pre-tour and sessions on livestock, forages and horticulture from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., with an optional campfire networking gathering afterward. Registration costs $20 and is open to 200 participants until September 2. New River Valley News
