- ➤ On June 25th, deputies shot a gun-wielding suspect after he allegedly killed his father—officials continue to investigate the incident. WDBJ7
- ➤ Police are searching for a suspect who used a counterfeit $100 bill to pay a $14 bar tab shortly after midnight on June 20 in Blacksburg—authorities ask anyone with information to contact the department. WSET
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Roanoke-Blacksburg Airport unveiled a new logo and website for the first time in over 30 years, updating its brand with a simplified name and fresh design. Officials said the new look—featuring a prominent R, an ascending airplane, and updated colors—will be phased in across all materials to support expanded air service and regional growth. WSLS 10
