- ➤ Gov. Glenn Youngkin ordered that all U.S. and state flags at state and local buildings be flown at half-staff today for Memorial Day—flags will be lowered at sunrise and remain at half-staff until noon. WSLS 10
- ➤ The Blacksburg Volunteer Rescue Squad received the Governor’s Award for Outstanding Emergency Medical Services from Gov. Glenn Youngkin at a May 19 ceremony. The Roanoke Times
