- ➤ Christiansburg police responded at 11:30 a.m. to a domestic dispute near the 2700 block of Roanoke Street when a suspect brandished a firearm and then shot himself, leading EMS to transport him to Carilion New River Valley Medical Center with life-threatening injuries; the investigation is ongoing.
