  • Virginia Tech leads a new NSF-funded research center called WISPER that has funded 10 projects to develop the next generation of wireless networks. The center brings together industry & three universities to work on making networks more open, smart, secure, and efficient.  Virginia Tech News

  • ABC13 has worked with St. Jude for seven years to give away a dream home that helps fund children's cancer treatment—each year raising more money than before. The program will hold a 2025 event to support research and care for sick kids.  WSET

  • Virginia Tech experts from the Colleges of Engineering and Architecture, Arts, and Design partnered with Virginia Housing after receiving a $1.1 million grant to test a 3D concrete printer for building affordable homes—aiming to lower costs and improve resilience against environmental challenges.  Virginia Tech News
