- ➤ Blacksburg opened the Meadowbrook Greenway on May 14 to link trails from Heritage Park (169 acres) to Brush Mountain and National Forest routes. Town leaders said they plan to extend the greenway next year to improve outdoor access. News Messenger
- ➤ The Yovaso Carnival is set to combine festive rides with safe driving demonstrations at a local venue. Local residents can attend the event to enjoy attractions and learn road safety tips. WDBJ7
