- ➤ Virginia Tech will host Thank a Donor Day on Monday, Apr. 13 from 11 AM to 4 PM at the Drillfield, where locals can enjoy free pizza, a free t shirt, photo opportunities with HokieBird, meet therapy dogs and write thank you notes without needing to RSVP. Virginia Tech News

- ➤ College of Natural Resources & Environment students are partnering with researchers from 16 universities in the US & Canada to launch weather balloons for an atmospheric rivers science program. The project will give them hands-on research experience. Virginia Tech News
- ➤ Students in a Public Relations course provided feedback on Virginia Tech alumna Hoda Kotb's Joy 101 app on April 3 to update it for college-age young adults; they refined their message design during a visit from local NBC affiliate WSLS 10. Virginia Tech News
