- ➤ Local wildlife officials & rescue teams reported that a bald eagle rescued from nearby wetlands showed severe toxicosis and died on Friday, Mar. 13. WDBJ7
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Due to wet conditions, the scheduled closure of Huckleberry Trail between the trail roundabout at Route 460 and Hightop Road from March 11–13 was postponed, so the trail remains open until Blacksburg Public Works reschedules the work. New River Valley News
