  • Today at 7:30 p.m. in Theatre 101, Walk Like a Man launches a three-day mixed dance and theatrical performance that explores societal pressures on masculinity—featuring seven dancers and free admission for those 13 and older. GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Governor Abigail Spanberger signed Executive Directive 1 on February 4, instructing agencies to end Section 287(g) agreements that assist federal law enforcement with local efforts. U.S. Congressman Morgan Griffith said the move risks pitting officials against each other and undermining public safety.  New River Valley News
