- ➤ From January through April, the YMCA at Virginia Tech and The Blood Connection will hold blood drives on the last Tuesday of each month from 12:00 to 4:00 PM at Lancaster House parking lot (403 Washington St. SW). Donors get $30, with $10 per donation going to local programs. New River Valley News
